Story House with Shirley Hill

Shirley Hill (Anatsipi’kssaakii – Pretty Sound Bird Woman) is passionate about sharing her Siksika culture with children through engaging experiences, including storytelling and dance. A recipient of the Calgary Police Citizen Award, she has worked in Calgary-area schools and for the Calgary Public Library, gently imparting knowledge and wisdom through her kind and sincere nature. A renowned fancy shawl dancer, she proudly continues this Siksika legacy. Shirley loves to inspire and encourage everyone to be proud of their traditions.
