Q: Where does the bus drop us off?
A: There are three assigned bus zones within one-block walking distance of Arts Commons.
Q: How do I find my way around the site?
A: Kidsfest has signage and a host of enthusiastic volunteers waiting to help you find your way around the Festival site. Maps are also available on-site.
Q: What time do indoor shows start in the morning?
A: Shows have staggered start times, at 10:00am, 10:15am, and 10:30am, providing flexibility, reducing congestion and giving your class time to arrive.
Q: What is the policy for latecomers?
A: Some performances do not admit latecomers or re-admittance once the show has begun. To be safe, plan on arriving at least 20 min prior to the performance.
Q: What happens if it rains?
A: If the weather is severe, most outdoor activities will be moved indoors to the Telus Rooms of the Telus Convention Centre.

Q: What about food?
A: We suggest bringing snacks for your students. Forgot to pack a lunch? There are two food vendors on-site including Ca’Puccini Café and Pita Express in Arts Commons, as well as Tim Hortons, A&W, Rosso Coffee, Second Cup, and Good Earth within a block’s walking distance of Olympic Plaza.
Q: Is the site secure?
A: Yes. We have MacCon Security on site 24 hours a day as well as Site Crew and festival volunteers. The Olympic Plaza site is fenced with entrances on each side of 8th Ave SE.
