Please review the Educator Checklist to help ensure you are prepared for your Kidsfest visit.
Fill out the Educator Transportation Information Form and send it to our School Box Office at email [email protected] or fax 403.294.7487 so that we can be prepared for your group’s arrival.

Where are you going?
Indoor performances take place in theatres in Arts Commons, 205 8 Ave SE, Calgary, T2G 0K9

Outdoor activities take place next door at Olympic Plaza, 228 8 Ave SE, Calgary, T2P 2M5

In case of rain, outdoor activities may be moved to the Telus Convention Centre, 120 9 Ave SE, Calgary, T2G 0P3

Kidsfest is curated to support Alberta Education learning objectives. Curriculum connections and educator resources are provided at the bottom of each show page on our website. How is Kidsfest safe and secure?
We have over 30 years of success in providing a fun and safe festival experience for thousands of students.

  • Our experienced Traffic Team volunteers are stationed at the bus arrival and departure zones to direct you and can assist with contacting bus company representatives if needed.
  • Volunteer teams are on the ground to help your group safely cross the street.
  • The Olympic Plaza site is fenced with entrances on each side of 8th Avenue SE and there is plenty of signage on site.
  • First Aid assistance is available on site during Kidsfest. If someone in your group requires medical attention, please go to the First Aid Ambulance outside on 8th Avenue SE or inform a Kidsfest team member.
  • MacCon Security is on site 24 hours per day during Kidsfest. As well, Site Crew and Kidsfest volunteers are available during the festival hours.
  • In the case of bad weather, outdoor activities will be moved indoors at the Telus Convention Centre.
  • Should a student need to purchase food, food vendors are open in Arts Commons including Ca’Puccini Café and Pita Express.
